AGI/Klearfold’s Durafold Provides Security AGI/Klearfold, based in New York, has developed Durafold Security Packaging, a theft-resistant packaging option designed to help reduce pilferage in retail environments. According to AGI, Durafold is a sealed-end style folding carton made of a proprietary polypropylene-based synthetic paperboard. It provides greater tear-resistance and stronger seals making it more difficult to remove products from their packaging in the store. Durafold cartons are said to be nearly identical to paperboard cartons in appearance and weight and are easier to open at home compared to rigid-plastic clamshells. The Swift Open Sachet complements the E-Z Open Sachet, a consumer-friendly opening sachet said to works well even in wet environments. Swift Open Sachet is designed for use with thick products such as waxes and gels and features a “peel-apart” opening system.
